ERA LIVING: CALL FOR ART!

You Are Invited!

EAFA artists are invited to submit work to this group exhibition. The theme is “open”, meaning artists are welcome to submit their best work across a wide range of subject matter. Artwork selected for the show will be based to the quality of the work and versatility of art mediums.

Era Living Exhibitions Art Program

Art brings great value and enriches our lives. Now, more than ever, we seek to find joy in the simple things around us. Art changes our environment, sparks conversations and give us different window on the world. Era Living is committed to its Arts Exhibition program, by making art accessible and refreshing the surroundings and connecting the residents and staff at its retirement communities to local artists.

You pick the winners!

All paid 2026 EAFA Members are invited to submit ONE 2D image for inclusion in the show. The artwork must have been completed between 2024/2026, and the following mediums will be accepted: oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, crayon, encaustic, mixed media, photography, or computer-generated artwork covering any non-political or non-offensive subjects* you wish by February 15th, 2026.

Winners: each entrant is encouraged to select their choice for First $500, Second $300, and Third $200 place (excluding their own artwork) and email the results to Roger Baker and Charles Fawcett by March 30th. The prize winners will be notified in early April, and the results will be  published in the May 1st EAFA Newsletter

Images should be of good quality, in focus, not skewed, and cropped to show the unframed image only. Submitted images should have a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side, in jpg format, and should not exceed 2MB in size.

Label the JPG image file with your name and title of work; (Smith _John _Title of Work.jpg). Along with the image transmittal, please include the following information: Title, Artist Name, Size, Medium, and Price. (Size in inches as Height X Width)

All sales will be handled between the buyer and the artist. The show coordinator will contact the artist in the event of a sales enquiry, and the artist will then make all arrangements with the buyer to satisfactorily conclude the sale.

EAFA 50th Anniversary Open Online Juried Show

November 1st through December 31st

Many thanks to all 64 artists from throughout Washington who entered this great show with 159 pieces depicting the Pacific Northwest in all its forms and beauty. All 64 artists are represented in the show.

Special thanks to Dominique Medici for judging the winners, with first prize awarded to Harold Johnson, second place to Joanne Scott Schooner, and third to Lorraine Goddard, with Honorable Mentions to Britt Greenland, Steph Littlebird, Jannelle Loewen, Eva Moon, Ned Mueller, and Amanda Spartz.
