EAFA welcomes Guest Artist Stephen Matera!

I’m an outdoor lifestyle, landscape and wildlife photographer, a father (two kids, a dog, and two one cats! R.I.P Olive kitty), husband, outdoor explorer, and adventurer. It all keeps me pretty busy. Sometimes I’m asked what I do in my spare time. Spare time??!

But in reality, when I do get free time, I’m usually out in the mountains exploring with my camera. I feel incredibly fortunate to have my passion as my career.

I am passionate and driven about creating photos – and about creating a message, a story, and a feeling from each image. I am driven to make unique and creative images every time I pick up the camera. Never satisfied to shoot the same way twice, I am always pushing my creative boundaries and exploring new perspectives. I am focused on the smallest detail as well as the big picture and apply this passion and drive to capture images that tell my clients story and message. This is what drives me to do my best work for my clients every time, and what keeps my clients continuing to hire me year after year for their commercial, editorial and fine art photography. And I also think I’m a lot of fun to hang out with…you won’t even mind my dad jokes.
